Job Title: Design Assistant

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide design and technical support to lead designer in the following forms; presentation materials, materials and furniture selections, specifications, color books, correspondence, project files and binders.
- Write accurate specifications, obtains accurate pricing based on shipping address, storage and any special handling costs.
- Understand and is able to read space planning, floor finish plans, ceiling plans, elevations and details.
- Research specific materials and finishes appropriate to the design theme, usage and budget.
- Manage the design library of resources as well as maintaining updated representative contacts. Maintains files, binders etc. and updates pricing.
- Represent the company when communicating with outside reps, vendors and community.
- Attend client meetings with the responsibility of note taking, support and follow up to the design team.
- Write and communicate in a professional manner on all correspondence
- Coordinate WDG work with outside consultants such as issuing of progress sets, delivery of information to outside architects, engineers and others based on designer’s direction.
- Assist designers with installations – coordinating deliveries, placement in the field and post installation follow up.
- Administrative duties include answering the phone, checking in receipt of merchandise, takes accurate phone messages, professional communication, signing for and distributing packages.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings.
- From time to time, assist in any marketing developments as requested.
- Assist with office housekeeping, trash, clean up. Assist with mail, making copies and running errands as needed.
- Utilize WDG timesheets.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree from a 4-year college with preferably a major in interior design. Or a related degree combined with interior design experience of 3 years minimum.
- Competence in multiple computer programs (AutoCad, Excel, Word Outlook, Power Point) etc.
Job Title: Senior Designer

Job Description
- Lead interior design team on projects
- Collaborate on a wide range of primarily hospitality oriented interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and management of budgets and schedules
- Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents
- Participate in design/development/selection of furniture and specifications
- Oversee merchandise procurement activities and installations
- Provide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
- Work with consultants, vendor partners, product reps, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives
- Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination consistent with the project contractual responsibilities
- Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs
- Participate in business development and marketing efforts from time to time
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- 5-7 years of proven commercial design experience
- Experience leading and advising clients
- Experience in both fields of Interior Architecture and FF&E specification
- Highly motivated and flexible
- Ability to read technical drawings and manage multiple projects from design to completion
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly with sketching as well as written documents including details, millwork, finishes and lighting
- Outstanding ability to present and share design concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
- Proficient in AutoCAD (REVIT a plus), Microsoft Office Suite and Project Manager, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent in both verbal and graphic communication
- Can multitask and prioritize
- Knowledge of building codes, ADA and construction methods
- NCIDQ certified
Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

- Experience with interior design or purchasing is helpful but not necessary.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reporting to the Office Manager you will be responsible for coordinating both administrative and procurement activities including preparing internal reports for management. You will provide support to the design team in the area of procurement of furnishings based on the project needs. You will interface with vendor partners, sales representatives, and management in preparing specifications, obtaining price quotations, preparing budget worksheets, maintaining project files, and general administrative support. You will have an opportunity to work in the field and assist with installations. We are looking for

- Ability to effectively multi-task and juggle multiple responsibilities at once
- Have a keen attention to detail for ensuring the project meets all the business' standards and goals.

Procurement:
- Assist design team with quotes and building cost estimates
- Creating Client proposals for all FFA (furniture, finishes, art and accessories)
- Creating PO’s for all FFA
- Monitoring status of each project (signed, deposit received, orders placed)
- Updating project tracking sheets with ship dates, details, issues for each project
- Coordinate with warehouse on items received
- Assist design team setting up installs.
- Handle merchandise install and warranty issues
- Has good communication with the manufacturer’s reps, factories, and warehouse. May be asked to attend industry trade shows to familiarize themselves with manufactures and reps.
- General admin assistance for front desk such as, receiving deliveries, getting mail, answering phones, greeting visitors.
- Accounts Payable support – entering credit card charges and invoices in QuickBooks, reconciling credit card charges and receipts, weekly check run and sending out.
